Art and play therapy is a non-traditional approach to talk therapy. Through creative expression children, teens, and adults can find a place of healing from within. This approach is non-threatening and it is playful and engaging for the whole family.
We offer art therapy services for children, adolescents and families. Art therapy is a unique, non-threatening approach, that uses art material, images, and discussion to help children heal and to grow. This child-friendly approach to treatment helps both expressive and non-expressive children resolve a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, educational, and social problems.

Play Therapy for Children
Play therapy refers to a large number of treatment methods, all of which make use of one or more of the natural benefits of play. Play allows children a safe psychological distance from their problems and allows them to express their true thoughts and feelings in ways best suited to their developmental level. Play therapy allows trained play therapists to assess and understand children’s play and to use it in assisting the child in coping with difficult emotions and in finding solutions to their problems. Play therapy is best suited for children between the ages of 3 – 12.
