    Dr. Erin Elmore

    Dr. Erin Elmore is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 29511) specializing in therapy and assessment services for children and adolescents. She has always enjoyed working with children and teens and has a genuine passion for using her training to help support her clients and their families.   


    Dr. Elmore earned her doctorate from Azusa Pacific University, an APA accredited program with an emphasis in Family Psychology in Los Angeles, California. Throughout her training, she has gained extensive clinical and assessment experience with children (ages 3 to 18) and their families from diverse cultures and in various settings. She has worked in community mental health centers, at school settings, in-homes, and in outpatient clinics. In addition to children and youths, Dr. Elmore also has experience working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, stress related concerns, and adjustment to new life circumstances.


    When it comes to therapy, Dr. Elmore approaches treatment from a psychodynamic and systems oriented perspective and with a warm, interpersonal style. She deals with topics including the child-parent relationship, adoption concerns, behavioral issues, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, and adjustment or phase of life concerns. As far as testing, Dr. Elmore is trained to conduct (a) psychological assessments for social-emotional concerns or for diagnostic clarification, and (b) psychoeducational assessments to help children, adolescents, and young adults receive the necessary support in academic settings.
